Dr. Kfir Oved

Founder, CEO & Board Member

Dr. Kfir Oved leads Canopy’s vision, R&D, and strategy. He holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Immunology and completed MD studies at the Technion. Previously, he co-incepted and served as the Chief Strategy Officer at Navina.ai, co-founded MeMed, served as its CTO, Chairman (2016-2023), and Board Member, and is a director on the BoD of La-Tour Hospital in Geneva.

Dr. Cedric Francois

Chairman

Dr. Cedric Francois provides strategic governance and industry insight. He co-founded and served as CEO of APLS (Acquired by Biogen, 2026). He holds an MD from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and a Ph.D. in Physiology from the University of Louisville.

John Cox

Board Member

John Cox delivers corporate strategy and operational leadership to the board. Drawing on his tenure as President and CEO of Dyne Therapeutics and his 15-year executive background at Biogen, he utilizes his extensive experience in public biotechnology markets to drive Canopy’s strategic growth.

Dr. Westley Nolin

Board Member

Dr. Westley Nolin contributes deep life sciences investment expertise as a team member at Morningside Venture. He leverages his academic background, holding a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Stony Brook University, to evaluate and guide Canopy's scientific milestones.

Shahar Tzafrir

Board Member

Shahar Tzafrir is a Managing Partner at TLV Partners, with extensive experience investing early across biotech, AI, and enterprise software. His healthcare and biotech portfolio includes Canopy, Aidoc, Immunai, DeepCure, Converge Bio, and Scala Biodesign. Previously, he served as a GP at Magma Venture Partners, following 15 years as an entrepreneur at three technology companies subsequently acquired by global industry leaders.

Patrick Guinee, DVM

COO

Patrick Guinee is Chief Operating Officer of Canopy Immuno-Therapeutics, where he oversees operations spanning CMC, regulatory, clinical operations. He brings nearly a decade of senior executive experience in biotechnology, following a military career as an aviator and senior commander. He holds a DVM and a BS in Physiology from Michigan State University and was a National Security Fellow at Harvard University.

Dr. Galit Denkberg

Vice President, Discovery

Dr. Galit Denkberg leads Canopy's research, discovery, and preclinical development, advancing the AgDC platform and therapeutic programs toward clinical development. She brings extensive immunology and biotechnology experience, including 13 years at Adicet Bio as Head of Research in Israel. She earned her Ph.D. in Immunology from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.

Dr. Sharon Reef

Vice President, CMC

Dr. Sharon Reef leads Canopy's CMC strategy, overseeing process development, analytical development, and GMP manufacturing. She directs CDMOs to ensure product quality and clinical supply readiness. Her extensive pharmaceutical industry experience includes roles at TEVA and Ferring Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Reef holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the Weizmann Institute of Science.

Dr. Roei Mazor

Vice President, Medical Affairs

Dr. Roei Mazor leads Canopy's clinical development and medical affairs, advancing lead program MGAC-007 into the clinic. As former Medical Director at Gamida Cell, he led Phase I-III cell-therapy programs and contributed to Omisirge's FDA approval. He holds an MD from Tel Aviv University and a Ph.D. in Immunology from the Weizmann Institute, bringing extensive drug development experience.

Dr. Inbar Arman

Director of Immunology

Dr. Inbar Arman leads Canopy’s Graves’ disease program, advancing its preclinical development toward the clinic. She holds a Ph.D. in Immunology from the Technion, with a focus on immunotherapy for autoimmune diseases, and brings deep expertise in immunology to the development of Canopy’s therapeutic programs.

Sharon Oz

IP Manager

Sharon Oz manages Canopy's global intellectual property portfolio and patent strategies. A seasoned Patent Attorney, Sharon brings extensive experience from pivotal IP roles at TEVA, Adicet Bio and MeMed Diagnostics, ensuring robust protection for novel biotechnological platforms and therapeutic innovations.

Kineret Biran

Head of Clinical Operations

As Head of Clinical Operations at Canopy, Kineret oversees the planning and execution of the company’s clinical trials, from early development through study initiation and conduct. She coordinates global clinical operations, working closely with cross-functional teams and clinical study sites to ensure high-quality and efficient trial execution, while advancing Canopy’s AgDC pipeline toward key regulatory and clinical milestones.

Yael Atiya Naveh

CMC Project Leader

Yael Atiya Naveh leads CMC activities supporting the development and manufacturing of Canopy’s therapeutic programs. With a background in Biotechnology Engineering from the Technion, she coordinates cross-functional teams and external manufacturing partners across process and analytical development, clinical manufacturing, and a CMC regulatory submission, advancing Canopy’s programs toward the clinic.

Shir Erez

Associate Scientist – Bioanalytical and In Vitro

Shir Erez executes critical bioanalytical and in vitro assays to advance Canopy’s therapeutic candidates. Holding an M.Sc. in Biochemical Engineering, she leverages her technical background to generate robust preclinical data supporting the efficacy of novel AgDCs.

Prof. Henry Kaminski

Clinical Advisor

Prof. Henry Kaminski is the Jeffrey Lieberman Professor of Neurosciences at GW University and an internationally recognized authority on myasthenia gravis (MG). He founded MGNet, an NIH-funded research network for MG, and serves as Principal Investigator for the MG Rare Disease Network (MGNet). He brings extensive expertise in disease biology, clinical trial design, and therapeutic development.

Prof. Marc De Baets

Clinical Advisor

Prof. Marc De Baets is Professor of Neuroimmunology at Maastricht University and a clinical immunologist specializing in antibody-mediated autoimmune diseases. His research covers myasthenia gravis, pathogenic autoantibodies, and targeted therapies. He brings decades of experience bridging experimental models with clinical research to advance treatments for autoimmune disorders.

Prof. Gil I. Wolfe

Clinical Advisor

Prof. Gil I. Wolfe is SUNY Distinguished Professor and former Neurology Chair at the University at Buffalo. He earned his MD at UT Southwestern, with neurology residency and neuromuscular fellowship at UPenn. An MG and peripheral neuropathy expert, he led the landmark MGTX trial and co-developed the QMG and MG-ADL outcome measures, bringing vast expertise in clinical research and therapeutics.

Prof. Michael Benatar

Clinical Advisor

Prof. Michael Benatar (MD, Ph.D.) is a Professor of Neurology at the University of Miami. Heserves as Chief of the Neuromuscular Division, holds the Walter Bradley Chairin ALS Research, and is the Executive Director of the ALS Center.

Dr. Simon Chivers

Toxicologist Advisor

Dr. Simon Chivers advises Canopy on preclinical safety and toxicology strategy. With over 25 years of experience in biopharmaceuticals and antibody-drug conjugates, he served as Global Head of Biologics Safety Assessment at Novartis and Head of Toxicology at ADC Therapeutics. He holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Imperial College London.

Dr. Urvish Pandaya

Organic Chemistry Advisor

Dr. Urvish Pandya is Founder and Director of Allotrope Scientific Ltd and an independent CMC consultant with over 30 years in chemistry, drug-substance development, and GMP manufacture. He earned his Ph.D. at Sardar Patel University and held postdocs in the US, France, and Imperial College London. He is a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry. He has co-authored Nature-published research and holds multiple patents.

Dr. John M. Lambert

Scientific Advisor

Dr. John M. Lambert brings three decades of bioconjugate research and development leadership to Canopy. As former Chief Scientific Officer at ImmunoGen, he led the development of novel antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) to commercialization. An Honorary Professor at Queen's University Belfast, he guides the design, structural optimization, and translational strategy of Canopy's targeted AgDC platform.

Dr. Jorg Thommes

Senior CMC Advisor

Dr. Jorg Thommes advises Canopy on CMC strategy. Previously, he served as SVP of Engineering and Technology at Biogen, SVP of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology at Visterra, Head of CMC at the Bill and Melinda Gates Medical Research Institute, and EVP of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Repertoire. He applies decades of expertise to ensure scalable, compliant manufacturing of complex biologics and therapeutic proteins.

Dr. Amy Jennings

Senior Regulatory Advisor

Dr. Amy Jennings is the Founder and Principal Regulatory Consultant at RegPath LLC, advising biotechs. Previously, she was SVP, Head of Regulatory at Casebia Therapeutics and Achillion Pharmaceuticals. She held senior roles at Sanofi and BMS. She earned a Chemistry B.S. from UW-Madison, a Biochemistry Ph.D. from Ohio State, and was a post-doc at the Harvard-affiliated Joslin Diabetes Center.

Dr. Rakesh Dixit

ADC Advisor

Dr. Rakesh Dixit brings over three decades of biopharmaceutical R&D leadership and deep expertise in toxicology and biologics development. Having contributed to multiple approved therapeutics across global enterprises, Dr. Dixit validates Canopy’s platform by directing translational safety and preclinical optimization for novel antigen-drug conjugates.
